In a land of paddy fields and lush greenery
Was the quiet little village My Lai
There lived a little girl in a hut
Morning sun
New day reborn
Breakfast time with the family
Before work at the rice fields
Despair suddenly fills the hut
Door rumbles as if the big bad wolf knocked

A man named William Calley
Soldier who lost his position of morality
Green Wolfs ”Charlie” Battalion
Walked for days in the jungles of hell
Days went by, for days they searched
In order to find and destroy the Viet Cong
Instead, they found the village of My Lai
There no foes to be found
Only civilians were around

The girl reacts to events outside
Machine guns disrupts the morning
She screams – Soldiers storms into the cabin
Big Bad Wolf invading
Firing rifles roars like thunder
Family wiped out – only she survived
Soldier grabs her hair, pulled out into a scene of genocide
Throwing her in amongst the others
Tears of blood flow in endless streams
”Charlie” Company of 1st Battalion
Obey orders – Lust for murder
As a Nazi raid – Mocking soldiers going berserk
Men assaulted and tortured
Women sadistically abused
Children crying
Indiscriminate killing
Extermination genocide
Hidden among the corpses
She waits for the Wolfs to leave
Stifling her cries for not being heard
Soldier herd moves on
Smell of blood spreads around the village
Helicopter arrived
Pilot Thompson gaze in shock
Son My in hellfire, dyed in wine red blood
Thompson confronts the Captain; ”What the hell is going on?”
Captain Calley replies; ”Following orders. To end the Viet Cong!”
”Good work”, The Pilot said, and ordered his men in the chooper; ”If somebody tries to shoot me… Shoot him down!”
(Thompson picks up the girl, gathered survivors and flew away.)

Smell of petroleum
Dominates the air
Substance stick to the skin
Enemies and civilians
Substance stick to the skin
Highly corrosive
Disfigured burned bodies
Around like orgy they lay
Those who survived
Deformed for life
Its the shadow of...

Venomous snakes upon you
Lurking foes - Confined space
Muzzle flash - Gun blast
Leave you - Deaf and blind
Will you ever see the light again?
Crawling back to the entrance
Suffocating horrors
Will you will live another day?
